PM Modi Speech on Lockdown 2.0: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation on Tuesday amid the ongoing war against the coronavirus. The PM has announced to extend the lockdown till 3 May. However, where new hot spots are not being built and the situation is under control, there may be some relaxation from April 20, but this will all depend on how much the coronavirus is under control. A detailed guideline will be released on Wednesday. At the same time, the Prime Minister has sought 7 things from the countrymen to defeat the coronavirus. Sixth point: you ought to be sensitive to the individuals operating with you in your business, your business, don't expel anyone.

Seventh point: Please pay full respect to the Corona warriors of the country, our doctors - nurses, scavengers, policemen.

The PM said, till May 3, all of us, every countryman will have to remain in lockdown. Throughout this period, we have to obey the order similarly as we have been done in past days. If one patient grows at the local level then this could be a matter of concern for us.

• Hotspots have to be very cautious. We will need to keep an in-depth watch on the places which are expected to be converted into hotspots.
• The creation of the latest hotspots will further challenge our diligence and our austerity. The fight against Corona is going to be further increased within the next one week.
• By 20 April every town, every police headquarters, every district, every state is going to be tested, what proportion lockdown is being followed, what proportion that area has protected itself from Corona, it'll be screened.
• The areas which will be successful to control quarantine in this duration, and which may not be inside the hotspot, and which are also less prone to be turned into a hotspot, could also be allowed some certain movements from April 20.
• if the rules of lockdown are broken and Corona's footfalls in our area then all permission will be withdrawn. So neither have to be negligent nor let others be negligent.
• We are growing fast on the health part as well. While we had just one lab to check Corona in January, now quite 220 labs are being tested.
• in recent times there is 1 lakh count of beds. There are quite 600 such hospitals, which are working just for the treatment of Kovid. These facilities are being extended sooner.

• Keeping in mind all the suggestions, it's been decided that the lockdown in India will now need to be increased by 3 May.
