The central government has said that from April 20, mobile phones, TVs, fridges, laptops, and stationery will be able to be purchased online. The government has approved the sale of them from e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, and Snapdeal.

The clarification came a day after the revised guidelines issued by Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla. According to an official, the sale will start from April 20 but the companies' delivery vans will have to seek the approval of the administration for movement. In fact, in the earlier guidelines issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, only the sale of essential commodities including food items, medicines, and medical equipment was approved. 

Preparing to start 11 industries with multiple conditions from April 20

The administration has started preparations after getting the guideline to start 11 industries after April 20 in lockdown. However, many conditions have been laid for businessmen. These include several points, including the living, eating arrangements and conducting health tests of the workers. The General Manager (Industry) has been entrusted with the responsibility of monitoring it and passing it on to the workers working in the industries.

The government has recently issued a guideline for running certain industries from April 20. After this, the commissioner met with the officials and formulated its action plan. Initially, instructions have been issued to call only 50 percent of the workers in the industrial units following social distance. Chief Secretary Rajendra Kumar Tiwari has issued guidelines to give relief to 11 industries in lockdown. These include steel, refineries, cement, chemicals, fertilizers, textiles, foundries, paper, tires, Common Effluent Treatment Plant and Sugar Mills. There will also be an exemption for the transportation of raw materials in these industries. There will be restrictions on the movement of workers in hotspots and screening areas. Apart from this, there will also be a system of sanitizers and masks, etc. for workers in industries. DM Nitish Kumar says that General Manager (Industries) Rishi Ranjan Goel has been entrusted with the responsibility to start the respective industries. Passes are being issued by ADM (Administration) VK Singh to the businessmen and their staff.

IIA said - It is not easy to fulfill the government's conditions

80 percent completed construction will start from April 20

The DM has directed to restart the construction works with 80 percent completed and available budget from April 20. He has asked to keep local laborers in construction work. Also instructed to report the work to be done after April 20 every day. On Saturday, DM SN Pandey held a meeting with officials of the working institutions PMGSY, Drinking Water Corporation and National Highways at Collectorate Auditorium. The DM said that keeping the local laborers in the construction work will give them employment. DM asked to prepare a list of laborers from outlying states engaged in construction work. It is said that by doing this, talks will be held with the administration of the workers to send them to the respective state. DM lists construction work to be done from April 20, Asked to enter gender and address of laborers engaged in construction work. Also instructed to give workers an hour's rest during work. During the work, the workers were asked to wear triple layer masks, provide sanitizer and soap and follow social distance. DFO KS Bisht, ADM TS Mortolia, EE LD Mathela, AP Joshi, VK Joshi, MC Pandey, Mohan Paladia and Anup Kumar and AE Virender Singh were present in the meeting.

Tax collection on toll plaza to begin from April 20, NHAI gave instructions

Toll tax will be collected at all toll plazas across the country including the capital Lucknow from midnight on April 20. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has instructed all toll companies to start toll plazas. After this, the toll companies have started the necessary action to collect the tax on the toll plaza.

 NHAI's project director NN Giri said that tax collection will be started on the toll plaza from 00:01 am on 20 April. During the tax collection, consumers will be motivated to make fast tag and online payments. The cache will be taken only in cache lines. During this time, all employees have been instructed to follow social distancing.

NEET PG Counseling: NEET PG and MDS 2020 counseling will start from April 20

NEET PG Counseling  2020: Program of Counseling has been released for admission in Post Graduate Courses of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) by DG, Health Services and Medical Counseling Committee, Government of India. This schedule has been released on the website of the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC - Medical Counseling Committee).

The counseling process for state quota seats of NEET PG 2020 and NEET MDS 2020 (NEET MDS 2020) will start from April 20, 2020, to May 4, 2020. This counseling will be done by the respective states for admission to State Medical and Dental Colleges. The council authorities of the state can be contacted for more information in this regard. Notification regarding the second round of counseling will be released after lockdown.

Counseling is done by the Medical Counseling Committee for only 50 percent of all India quota seats and 100 percent of Central University seats. The result of the first round of NEET PG 2020 Counseling for All India Quota was declared on 10 April. After the seat allocation, the last date of reporting through the online medium at the institute was April 20, 2020, which has been extended to April 24, 2020.
