New Delhi. Indian Railways has given very good news for railway passengers. Indian Railways will start operating trains gradually from May 12. Nearly 45 days after the suspension of passenger, mail and express train services amid Corona crisis, Indian Railways announced on Sunday that it would run 15 air-conditioned (AC) express trains on par with its Rajdhani Rajdhani Express on 12 May. All these trains will be a limited stoppage. However, Indian Railways will initially run only 15 pairs of trains. Booking of trains will begin today i.e. May 11. It is known that due to the Coronavirus, the Railways had taken a big step and announced to stop all its passenger services from midnight on 22 March.

Now from May 12, all trains will start from Delhi. Initially, 15 trains are currently running by the Railways. Booking of all these trains will start on the IRCTC website (https://www.irctc.co.in/) from 4 pm tomorrow. Only passengers with confirmed tickets will be allowed to enter the railway stations. Passengers will be mandatory to cover the face and undergo screening at the time of departure and only passengers will be allowed to board the train.
At the same time, the Railway Ministry has prepared a detailed plan for this. Initially, only a small number of trains will be operated. During this time people's health and corona infection will also be investigated. These trains will run as special trains from New Delhi station connecting Dibrugarh, Howrah, Agartala, Patna, Ranchi, Bilaspur, Secunderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Thiruvananthapuram, Madgaon, Mumbai Central and Jammu Tawi.

300 more labor trains will be operated
With this, Indian Railways will start more specialized services on new routes based on available coaches after reserving 20,000 coaches for Coronavirus care centers. Apart from this, coaches will also be reserved separately for the operation of 300 trains as labor specials.

1. According to the Railway Guidelines, wearing masks is very important for all passengers. Explain that those who do not wear masks will not be allowed to travel. Traveling people can also use scarves or any other clothes to cover the face instead of masks.

2. All passengers will be screened before traveling. In such a situation, everyone has to reach the railway station at least 1 hour before. 

3. Permission to travel will be given only to those with no symptoms of the corona. 

4. It will be compulsory for all passengers to have the Arogya Setu app on their phones. Through this app, you will get every information related to the coronavirus. Those who do not have this app on their phones will not be allowed to do boarding. 

5. Ticket booking will be through the internet only. Booking will not be done at the ticket counter. Apart from this, no concession of any kind will be available while booking tickets. There will be no Tatkal, Premium Tatkal, and current booking. 

6. Only those who have a confirmed ticket will be allowed to travel. All trains will have stoppages limited. 

7. No train will have a general bogey. Apart from this, all special trains will run only with AC coaches. 

8. No passenger will get a blanket and bedsheet on the train. Therefore, it would be prudent to carry your own sheet and blanket.

9. The temperature of the AC coach will be below normal, so there may be freezing. In such a situation, travel with a blanket and a sheet from home. 

10. Eating facilities will also not be available on the train. So take food and drink from home.
